President: JASPER KOID Cambridge is not just about studying, it is about the whole experience, and we are here to bring you that memorable experience! CUMaS is one big family and we certainly have something for everyone – stay tuned for our awesome events throughout the year. Feel free to contact anyone of us should you have any queries. P/S: I love Char Kuey Teow. |

Secretary: TAY HUEY YUIN Hello! Feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions regarding membership, registration or CUMaS in general. Iโm ready to answer most of them, eh-hem, excluding prank emails of course, if you have that in mind. ๐

Treasurer: CHARMAINE TAN As treasurer, I’m here to make sure CUMaS’s finances are always in good shape. So if you’re a member of CUMaS, you can be sure you’ll be well taken care of, financially that is. Email me if you’ve got any queries or ideas that I can help with, or even if you want to have a chat about how the average Malaysian life is like in UK and how much we all miss the food back home. |

Publicity: TAN JIANN MENG Have you read the lastest issue of CUMaSKini? If you haven’t, you should! As Publicity Officer, my main aim is to ensure that you (yes, you!) are aware of everything CUMaS does. Newsletters, Facebook, personally knocking on your door; I’ll do my best to make sure you’re constantly updated. If there’s something you want publicised within CUMaS, feel free to drop me a message! |

Entertainment: LEE JIE MIN By reading on, you have promised… …to choose from the 2 options. 1. You choose to act / dance / manage backstage / sing etc. in CUMaS’s Annual MALAYSIAN NIGHT production. Tell me your interest and my job is to try to involve you in something you will enjoy doing. 2. You choose to be THE AUDIENCE. BUT, that is not enough. You will have to grab your friends to spend our MALAYSIAN NIGHT together. Amnesia is not allowed. You have read the above, so remember to keep your promise! For either way, I will be seeing you during Malaysian Night. Cheers!

Sports: AMIRUL HAKIM Hello there!! I like balls and rackets! My job is to entertain you guys with the wide range of sports we have! Just name it: from football to Quidditch (we are going to try this soon!) After all, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Anyway, hope you will enjoy becoming part of the CUMaS family! Feel free to contact me if you are determined to beat Oxford in the next Oxbridge Games or if you just want to chill out and have a chat! ๐

Welfare: STEPHANIE POO Helu! So my job entails giving you smileys, and helping YOU feel at home in Cambridge. So, feel free to message me if you have any queries. If you don’t have any queries but just wanna chat, feel free to contact me as well! We could chat & go makan yummy food or have tea together etc! ๐ Lots of love xx |
Socials: LOH YI JUN Hello! I was given the job of Socials Officer, which makes me, apparently pretty sociable! ๐ I am in charge of the social and fun side of CUMaS, from Formal Halls to general partying. But of course, I help out with the serious stuff as well. So, if you have any questions at all or would like to have a nice chat and stuff, don’t hesitate to contact me! ๐

Sponsorship: HAFIZ AZMAN Iโm in charge of finding sponsors and keeping them happy. If youโre part of a company and are looking to connect directly with some of the best young Malaysian minds, feel free to contact me and I’ll be more than happy to work something out with you. If youโre just a student here, donโt worry: being a Sponsorship Officer doesnโt mean I donโt play with you guys too! I enjoy movies, long walks on the beach and of course researching the modern retro-encabulator; if you want to discuss the panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator and how to optimize the diathetical evolute in the metapolar refractive pilfrometer, Iโm your man, alright the sponsors should have stopped reading by now, developing video games and cooking omelettes are my real passions and I am always up for a game of frisbee. Catch me whenever!

Technical: TAN SIEN YI Hi there! As Technical Officer, I’m basically in charge of managing our web content and mailing lists, handling graphic design works, and generally dealing with IT issues in CUMaS-related stuff. I’m also essentially the Publicity Officer’s sidekick in making sure the information you need is readily available and easily obtainable through our online media. This, however, does not mean I’m your 24-hour tech support guy! But do get in touch with me if you have any queries or suggestions for improvement about our website, social media etc.

Logistics: LIM JIA WEI Good evening, fellow earthlings. My vision is a CUMaS with fabulous events that run without a hitch. My mission is to make sure everything that is supposed to happen, happens. And those that aren’t supposed to happen is the fault of everyone but yours truly. My plan is to make sure everything in the background is well oiled so that you, the members are comfortable enough to assume my job is to have a drink and a laugh with/at you whenever you’re down. Cooperation is essential though, as some of the others will tell you that I shoot more than just photos and videos. I’m not suggesting anything. ๐

Graduate Representative: JULIAN TAN These are tough times for the Malaysian graduate community in CUMaS. Sometimes called dinosaurs, our representation in CUMaS has somehow managed to shrink in size because of the misconception that CUMaS is only for undergrads. So much so that we graduates are on the precipice of extinction from the CUMaS community. I hope that as Grad Rep, I’ll be able to revive the graduate community. We can be hip and cool too, you know! ๐ Are you a graduate student reading this? If so, contact me and let’s show these undergrads a thing or two about awesomeness! ๐ Don’t be paiseh lah. Plenty of Malaysian food awaits! Join now!
