2a. Teach for Malaysia in Cambridge

Did you know that only 6 out of every 100 orang asli children enrolled in schools complete their secondary education? And that 4 out 5 working Malaysians are only educated up to SPM level?

Teach For Malaysia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation seeking to put an end to educational inequity in Malaysia. Education inequity, the reality that a child’s origin determinesthe quality of his or her education and life prospects, is the greatest social injustice facing our generation today. Our vision is that one day, all children in Malaysia will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.

Teach For Malaysia is a partner of Teach For All, a global network of independent social enterprises working to expand educational opportunity in their nations by enlisting their most promising future leaders in the effort. Find out how you can become part of Teach For Malaysia’s leadership movement to eliminate educational inequity in our country!

Join us @ Mind The Gap – A discussion on education inequity in Malaysia and Teach For Malaysia’s story. Meet our Co-founders, Dzameer and Keeran, and learn more about how you can get involved:

What: Mind The Gap: Education Inequity in Malaysia
