Happy Week 1 and welcome back to Cambridge! We hope you had a restful holiday and are all geared up for another 8 weeks of term! Below are some updates about CUMaS and notifications in general. Note the important calendar dates and pre-book those slots in your calendar. Changes on some information may (unlikely) occur but we will update everyone if that ever happens.

Venue (confirmed): The McCrum Lecture Theatre, Corpus Christi College (tucked away on Bene’t’ Street and just hidden behind the Eagle Pub)
d.) Annual General Meeting
Date: 26th February 2015
Venue: Magdalene College (tentative)

3. iCUSU Talent Show
iCUSU] International Talent Show is coming!
On March 9 2015, iCUSU will be hosting our first ever International Talent Show. The show will take place at the West Road Concert Hall. Auditions for this will take place on the first two weekends of Lent term i.e. on the 25th of January between 1pm-6pm . Participants may audition as individuals or as groups. We are looking to incorporate a wide variety of performances, ranging from music,dance,magic to drama. We are also looking for people who would like to be our host! We welcome performers from any nationality or background. The audition time is more or less flexible. Please contact either Torrey (xc258@cam.ac.uk) or Cherry (yt301@cam.ac.uk) if you would like to register your interest or want further information.

4. Summer Work in Cambridge
Teaching and Administration (Application Deadline: 2 February 2015)
Oxbridge Academic Programs facilitates two well-established, academically rigorous summer programmes for advanced secondary school students in Cambridge: The Cambridge Tradition, held in Jesus College, and The Cambridge Prep, held in Peterhouse. Oxbridge is seeking applications from motivated, creative individuals to serve as administrators and teachers for these programmes. Positions in programme administration (including Programme Assistants and Activities Directors) are open to current undergraduates. Room and board is provided for programme administrators. Applicants for teaching posts should be well-qualified graduates who either have obtained, or are working towards, an appropriate postgraduate qualification (MSc, MPhil, PhD). Oxbridge offers courses in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and the creative arts. All positions are paid.
