The poster and flyer (attached) and the trailer (as can be seen here!) might have gotten your excitement buzzing! What has been going on in the meanwhile? The actors have been busily perfecting their lines. The dancers are fine tuning their steps. Everyone involved has been working hard to bring you a night to remember! MNight this year explores friendship and the age old question: ‘What are friends for?’ Well, you could find out by simply attending and supporting your own friends among the cast and crew! Please note that the AGM is for CUMaS members only and we just need people to sign up to meet quorum so that the AGM will be valid. Even if you don’t sign up, feel free to attend! Our AGM will feature an Outgoing Committee’s report, Hustings for Incoming Committee 2011/2012 and Open Debate. It’s not too late to submit motions for debate! If you wish to submit motions for open debate during AGM, please email secretary@cumas.org. Please include a proposer and seconder for each motion for motion debate. The deadline for submission is Sunday, 6 March 2011.

6. Committee Drinks

We still have tickets available! To those who are wary about coming, it’s nothing formal! It’s just an opportunity for the entire committee to chill out with the members over drinks and listen to what you have to say (whether CUMaS-related or otherwise) in a more relaxed atmosphere. You will also be able to meet the candidates running for the upcoming elections so come along and see if it helps you decide who to cast your vote for! Due to feedback, we have also decided to open this event to non-CUMaS members as well!

As we won’t be charging entrance fees, we would highly appreciate it that should you decide not to come after signing up, please send publicity@cumas.org an email to let us know so that we can give your ticket to those on the waiting list.

1) 10% discount is given for eat-in only. There is no discount for takeaway or KTV.
2) Membership card must be presented BEFORE the bill is printed, no discount will be given after the bill has been printed off

8. Invitation to KUL Finance Forum 2011

9. UKECharisma – An Invitation

UKECharisma is an organization that provides opportunites for students studying in the UK to lead and volunteer in community service and leadership projects in Malaysia every summer. This opportunity is open to any student studying in the UK, whether Malaysian or non Malaysian, and UKECharisma will not only provide leadership training and project organization training, but also expert advice and sponsorship for accommodation and food for all the volunteers going for the projects – that’s right, all you have to pay for is your flight and shopping, as well as fundraise a token amount to demonstrate your commitment to the cause!
We are currently recruiting students to lead our Summer 2011 projects, as well as students who would like to be part of the executive committee of our big venture, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
