CUMaSKini – 8 Nov 2010

Want to show some community love? Volunteer with us for the events below – it promises to be good fun! 😀

1. Malaysian Food Festival MFF
2. Malaysian Night
3. Play Host to Imperial

1. Malaysian Food Festival MFF

Please save this date! There promises to be lots of authentic, delicious Malaysian food 😀

Date: Saturday, 20th November 2010
Venue: St Paul’s Church

We are also in need of volunteers:
1) Can’t cook? No worries, there is no experience necessary! If you’re free that Saturday, please fill in the spreadsheet here. The upside of volunteering is that you’d get to eat for free, of course, and helping out is a great way to meet people and have fun.
2) Do you have a blender that we can borrow? We’d need it to blend chili for the MFF. If you own one, we would greatly appreciate it if you could lend it to us. Please contact Shan at welfare@cumas.org

2. Malaysian Night

Anyone interested in taking part in Malaysian Night, tentatively in Mid-February to March? Whether you would like to be part of a performance, to start a new performance or work in a crew please get in touch. In particular, we need:

Videographer
Violinist
Please contact Tian Huey at tht26@cam.ac.uk

3. Play Host to Imperial

We are in need of volunteers to play host to imperial and show them around Cambridge. Make us proud! If your friends from Imperial are coming, there’s a double incentive to join! Tentatively, there will be punting and a formal at Pembroke.

Date: 27 November

Please indicate on the spreadsheet here if you are free to join. You can sign up for the punting and formal separately – depending on the weather, punting will possibly take place in the afternoon whereas the formal will take place at night. For the formal, please indicate by 20th November if you would like to come.
