It’s here at last! Our flagship event of Michaelmas: the ever-wonderful, mouth-watering Malaysian Food Feast! Featuring the very best of Malaysian Food, this is sure to be a delicious and hopefully-not-too-fattening evening of nostalgia.

3. Scientific Malaysian Issue 3
Scientific Malaysian Issue 3 is available to download at http://magazine.scientificmalaysian.com/download/. In this issue, we featured articles on journal impact factor/h-index, an interview with the Director of Comparative Genomics and Genetics Research Centre in Malaysia, life experiences of Malaysian postdoc/PhD student abroad, a science book review and an article on Fermi’s Paradox (if we are not alone in this universe, why we haven’t found the ‘others’ yet?).

4. Education Talent Academy
Dr. Ong Shien Jin founded Education Talent Academy to bring his Harvard and MIT educational experience to talented high school students in Malaysia. Starting January 2013, the Academy will o er weekend classes in Kuala Lumpur, where the target group is Form 4 (Year 9) to Pre-University (Year 12) students. The Academy’s mission is to develop leaders who are technologically skilled and socially minded. We intend to provide a revolutionary education environment where learning is fun, and where education fosters curiosity, passion and creativity.
