Malaysian Food Feast 2010

Miss home? Still beating back the Week 5 (now 6!) blues? Come on along to the MFF! Spend the night with great company and lots of authentic, delicious Malaysian food! Banana fritters, mihun, vegetable curry, chik kut teh, red bean dessert, rojak, nasi lemak… Mmmm… Even better, this year there will be a special price for our CUMSA friends – although everyone is warmly invited to come :]

The epic Malaysian Food Fest (MFF) is finally upon us and only a day away! With food ranging from those cooked by the committee (yup that’s us!) and some having been catered aaalllll the way from London, you are promised a scrumptious feast! With the menu consisting of Satay (barbecued chicken meat on skewers), Nasi Lemak (rice cooked in coconut milk), Roti Jala (Malaysian pancake which looks like a net) with curry, chik-kut-teh (chicken cooked in chinese herbal broth), fruit rojak (Malaysian fruit salad), mihun goreng (fried rice vermicelli), vegetable curry, banana fritters (pisang goreng or goreng pisang?), red bean soup (it’s a dessert, not a starter!), limau ais(lime juice), sirap bandung (rose syrup with milk) AND a mysterious dish from a mysterious stall, you can be sure that your ticket is worth every penny!
